You can already play. What is missing is the map: the note under your finger on the tenth fret, the shape that lands on the ♭3, the same chord in three places up the neck.

• Notes Name any note on any string, up to the 12th fret.
• Intervals Find the 4th, the ♭3 or the octave above or below any root, anywhere on the neck.
• Triads Major and minor grips in every inversion, right across the neck.
• Scales Ten scales and modes. Play one, spot whether a note belongs, and name the degree you are on.
